How to get Amber in Enshrouded

Want to learn how to get Amber in Enshrouded? Amber is a valuable material used to craft armour sets, upgrade the Flame Altar, and more. Though you might come across Amber nodes when you’re out exploring, there’s a good chance you won’t because of just how rare it is out in the wild.

Where to find Amber in Enshrouded

To get Amber in Enshrouded, you’ll need to mine Amber deposits using a pickaxe in the Shroud in the Revelwood region, specifically in the enshrouded zone east of the Revelwood Ancient Spire fast travel point. Amber veins spawn in rock formations in the Shroud and have a distinctive orange color with red patches and a jagged, criss-cross line pattern.

If Revelwood area means nothing to you, it’s north of the starting Springlands area. Cross the Braelyn Bridge, go past the Springlands Ancient Spire, then continue beyond the Farmer Ancient Vault, through Willow Crush and Diadwyn. The Revelwood Ancient Spire is just east of Diadwyn.

To stay alive in the Shroud in Revelwood, you’ll need to upgrade the Flame Level at your Flame Altar to Level 3, otherwise you’ll die as soon as you enter the deadly red Shroud zones. We also recommend unlocking the Revelwood Ancient Spire before setting off to farm Amber for two reasons: most of the Amber spawns near the Spire and having the fast travel point will make successive farm runs much quicker to complete.

Where to farm Amber

We’ve found two Amber farming spots in the Shroud below the Revelwood Ancient Spire, which consider the best place to get the material. The first is located almost immediately east of the spire and west of the southernmost large rock formation that peeks out above the Shroud. Check the image above for the exact spot.

The second Amber deposit is northeast of the Revelwood Ancient Spire and northwest of the Bramblespine Boneyard, not far from where the Shroud ends. Again, take a look at the screenshots above for the exact location. There are also several other spots in the northern areas of Revelwood, again in the Shroud areas only.

As with all other resources in Enshrouded, Amber deposits are on a timer but will immediately respawn if you exit and reload your save. We recommend making use of this to farm Amber as needed: fast travel into the Revelwood Ancient Spire, glide down to the Shroud, farm the deposits, exit the Shroud, fast travel back to your base to deposit the Amber, close and restart your game – rinse and repeat.
