Where to find Clay in Enshrouded

To Clay in Enshrouded, you’ll need to mine Clay deposits using the pickaxe in the Revelwood area. Clay doesn’t spawn in the Springlands area starting so you’ll have to venture north past the Springlands Ancient Spire and Farmer Ancient Vault to the Revelwood Ancient Spire fast travel tower. To do this, you’ll need to have your Flame Altar Flame Level up to level 3, which will allow you to get through the deadly red Shroud zones leading to Revelwood.

Clay deposits spawn on cliff sides throughout the Revelwood area and have a distinctive earthy brown-red colour. You’ll need a pickaxe to farm Clay so make sure you bring one along. To make farming easier, we highly recommend unlocking the Revelwood Ancient Spire fast travel spot to make ferrying Clay back to your base easier.

Where to farm Clay

Once you reach Revelwood, Clay is plentiful, especially near Diadwyn, but here are three spots that are ideal for farming thanks to their proximity to the Revelwood Ancient Spire.

The first Clay farming spot is on the cliff side immediately west of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. Glide down towards the cliff and land on the ledge next to the large patch of unmissable orange-red – the Clay deposit. The image above has the exact location on the map.

The second spot is just northeast of the first, again west of the Ancient Spire. But instead of being on the cliff side, it’s up top, merged into a small rocky hillock. Check the image above for the spot.

The third farming spot is northeast of the Revewoold Ancient Spire, next to a Flame Shrine and the Bramblespine Boneyard. You can launch yourself off the spire and glide down to a ledge on the cliff side to reach the deposit.

As you explore Revelwood, you’ll come across plenty more Clay deposits, but these should get you started nicely.
