How do you respec in Diablo 4?

If you’re looking to change up your build, you’re in luck, as it’s very easy to respec in Diablo 4. First, you have to open up your Abilities menu. From here, you can select individual abilities that you’ve put skill points into, and refund them for a price. This skill reset applies to all your skill nodes, opening up the option of full respecs of the skill tree panel on Windows PC, Xbox Series X, or Playstation 5.

This works with all five classes: Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Necromancer. And this doesn’t reset your quests or your loot. It also retains the renown you earn across Diablo 4’s five regions: Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, Kehjistan, Dry Steppes, and Hawezar. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a total overhaul, you can click the Refund All button at the very bottom of the menu, which will give you all of your skill points back, for a higher gold cost.

What is the Diablo 4 respec cost?

The amount it costs to respec in Diablo 4 is determined by your character’s level. At the start of the game, it’s free to respec, but once you hit level seven it starts costing one gold. From here, as you continue to level up, it will cost progressively more gold to respec than it did at your previous level.

Don’t worry though, as the prices are still pretty reasonable. Gold is reasonably prevalent and with a higher level comes chances to earn greater amounts of gold, so even at high levels you probably won’t find the cost too overwhelming. If you choose to respec all of your skill points often enough, you’ll probably find yourself lacking funds pretty quickly, so restrain yourself a little bit.
