OpenAI announced the new subscription’s existence with a small paragraph in a blog post. The company did not divulge a specific date of release, instead simply saying that ‘ChatGPT Business available in the coming months’.
They also confirmed that it will be geared towards businesses. In fact, they were more precise, saying that the service will be for ‘professionals who need more control over their data as well as enterprises seeking to manage their end users.’
They confirmed that the subscription would still follow their API data usage policy, meaning that, by default, OpenAI won’t train their models on data from end users.
In the same blog post, they also made announcements about new ways to manage your ChatGPT data. This includes the new ability to disable chat history. With this feature enabled your chats won’t be saved and also won’t be used by the company to train their models.
