Gray Zone Warfare system requirements for PC
Developer Madfinger Games has revealed two sets of system requirements for Gray Zone Warfare. The minimum spec will let you run the game while the recommended setup will give you a solid experience while exploring Lamang Island. Considering that it’s a multiplayer Early Access title with PvEvP, you’ll have to put up with some stuttering and lag.
With a focus on realism, the game has vibrant visuals but is held back by stutter issues. Like most games, Gray Zone Warfare’s minimum requirements ensure that older PCs can run the title at reasonable frame rates. In the processor department, an old i5 8600 from 2018 or a Ryzen 5 2600 will let you run the game. While the three-year gap between Nvidia’s GTX 1080 and AMD’s RX 5700 might strike you as odd, this might come down to AMD switching its GPU architecture around that time. There’s an Intel card here too, surprisingly.Â
At the moment, even the best PCs are struggling with FPS drops and stutters so bear that in mind before hopping in.
These GPUs cannot take advantage of Nvidia’s DLSS frame generation tech and must rely on AMD’s FSR upscaling instead. As for AMD’s frame generation tech, it’s supported on RTX 2000 series and up in addition to most AMD GPUs. And 16 GB RAM is increasingly becoming a standard requirement these days. 40 GB of storage is pretty good when there are games out there that hog up over a hundred gigabytes. We recommend an SSD because the load times can get pretty long.

The recommended system requirements bring a decent leap in the GPU and CPU sections. While there’s no mention of an Intel card here, Nvidia’s 3070 Ti and AMD’s 6800 are no slouches in the performance department. The five-year-old i7 9700K and six-core Ryzen 5 3600X will be able to handle the Unreal Engine 5 game’s realistic simulations and intense combat once the performance issues are ironed out. RAM is also doubled to 32 GB.
If you’ve got the hardware for it, take advantage of Nvidia Super Resolution, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, and Intel XeSS Super Sampling to improve performance.
