Wuthering Waves is a great gacha experience that fans really enjoy. Right now we are in the middle of 1.2 with update 1.3 planned to launch very soon. However, even though 1.3 is still yet to arrive, significant leaks for 1.4 have already surfaced. These Wuthering Waves update 1.4 leaks include two new banner characters, and one of them has been compared to heroines from Genshin Impact.
There is a lot to anticipate for WuWa 1.3. The two new playable characters confirmed by Kuro are Youhu and The Shorekeeper. Leaks have revealed gameplay and animations for The Shorekeeper, and she looks an absolute must to pull. In addition, leaks from the 1.3 closed beta have shown a new explorable area that is somehow connected to the previously leaked Black Shores map.
While 1.3 is very exciting, many Wuthering Waves fans should be pumped for update 1.4. Leaks have revealed the two new banner characters, and one of them is a fan-favorite, while the other has never been seen.
The leaked banner characters for Wuthering Waves update 1.4 are Camellya and Dengdeng. This comes courtesy of WuWa_Universe, who again reiterates a previous leak that WuWa will transition from 1.4 straight into 2.0.
A previous rumor suggested Camellya wouldn’t arrive until after 2.0, so seeing her debut in 1.4 will be fantastic, if accurate. According WuWa_Universe, via Stepleaker, the never seen before Dengdeng “looks similar to Yaoyao” from Genshin Impact.
Fans online have feared that Dengdeng is “another loli character”. Fortunately, that doesn’t appear to be the case according to other leaks.
According to Stepleaker on Telegram, as shared on Reddit, “Dengdeng is not a child model“. The embedded Reddit leak includes a screenshot that says, “Dengdeng is not a loli, she is slightly shorter than The Shorekeeper”.
The leak also says “She has a pet companion like Yaoyao and Xiangling (Genshin Impact)”.
Although none of this is official as of writing, many fans are relieved to hear that Dengdeng is not a “loli”. There are no images of Dengdeng online, but the official reveal of the 1.4 characters should happen before the start of 1.3. With 1.3 set to begin in just a few weeks, that means we should get a first look at Dengdeng very soon.
