Wuthering Waves update 1.2 is right around the corner, but a lot of eyes have been drawn to 1.3 thanks to the confirmed new playable banner characters. The Shorekeeper has captured the hearts of many, but she’s not the only new upcoming heroine as there is also the impending debut of Youhu. Here you will find the Wuthering Waves update 1.3 release date along with skill leaks for Youhu.
Skill leaks have emerged for The Shorekeeper, but there is still quite awhile to wait for 1.3 to come out as we still have over a week left to wait for the 1.2 release date. Update 1.2 is set to introduce Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao, and there is hope that the game will land on PS5 consoles during 1.2’s lifespan.
We’re excited for 1.2, and we’re even more pumped for the game’s impending launch on PlayStation. We’re also eagerly anticipating update 1.3 for the launch of Youhu and her skills.
Wuthering Waves update 1.3 release date
The release date for Wuthering Waves update 1.3 is September 26th. It’s expected that Youhu will come out as part of phase 1 seeing as she was revealed on the game’s socials first and ahead of The Shorekeeper.
It’s possible a delay could occur, but, as of writing, the above is the planned schedule. As for when The Shorekeeper could arrive, it’s expected she will be part of phase 2 which should arrive on October 17th.
Youhu and The Shorekeeper are the only confirmed 1.3 banner characters. Earlier leaks suggested we might be getting Camellya, but that no longer appears to be the case. However, leaks were accurate in claiming that the new characters for 1.3 would both be female.
Youhu skills and abilities leaks
Kuro has confirmed that Youhu is 4-stars. The developer’s Twitter announcement provides the following description:
“Youhu, a natural expert in identifying antiques, is a capable speaker with distinctive tastes. When dealing with treasures and antiques, this jubilant dynamo settles into calm perception, tracing their distant past through their wrinkles and textures.”
The above are the only official details we have at this moment in time, but leaks have provided possible titbits about her skills and abilities. According to Tieba (via WuWa_Universe), some leaked details about her skills and abilities are as follows:
- Weapon: Gauntlet
- Off-field dmg, sub-dps
- Skills can hit near and far
- Her mechanics include a bit of RNG (they compare her mechanics to Qingque from HSR)
The above titbits are not official, and WuWa_Universe reminds fans to take any leaks with a grain of salt. Again, she will be arriving in update 1.3 and is expected to be part of phase 1.
