Connecting with your fellow Rover friends in Wuthering Waves is crucial to a fun journey. You can add friends in Wuthering Waves and event adventure with them once you unlock certain prerequisites. Finding and adding friends is as simple as entering their unique user ID to find them in the game. Here’s how to add friends in Wuthering Waves.

Wuthering Waves – how to add friends
To add your friend, all you need to do is get their unique user ID number. This ID is located at the bottom right of your screen and it is different for every account. Grab their user ID and then open the menu. Click on the ‘Friends’ tab and then the ‘Add Friend’ button in the bottom right. Enter in the user ID and you’ll see your friend’s name come up if done correctly. Here are the steps:
- Ask for your friend’s user ID and copy it.
- Open the menu in-game and select ‘Friends’, the icon showing two hands shaking.
- Click on ‘Add Friend’.
- Paste the user ID into the box that appears.
- Send a friend request and have your friend accept it.
Once either you or your friend have accepted an invite, you will see their username appear on the friends list, telling you whether or not they are online. If your friend is online, you can play multiplayer together by inviting them to your world. Likewise, if your friend has added you, you can accept their friend request in the Friends menu and click on the second icon on the left.
You need to make sure you and your friend are on the same server to add them as a friend and play co-op together. If you play on the Europe server and your friend is on the Asia server, you won’t be able to see their user ID if you enter it. Therefore, you also can’t invite them to play together.
