The Finals new lore seems to show first image of Season 4 map

The Finals Season 4 remains shrouded in a lot of mystery. We know when it is set to arrive, and it’s only just a few weeks away. However, we still don’t know any of the new gadgets and weapons, nor we do know the overall theme and location of the new map. While all of this is still yet to be revealed by Embark, it’s believed the new lore video possibly shows the first image of The Finals Season 4 map.

Embark has confirmed that the release date for The Finals Season 4 is September 26th. A huge announcement has confirmed Cashout is returning to Ranked, and the devs have shown the prettiest map in the game is getting a new variant. In addition, Embark has recently shared another leak that has fans pumped for Season 4’s arrival.

We still have over a week remaining until Embark fully pull the curtain aside, so until then all we can do is speculate. We’re extremely eager to see the new map, and it’s possible we already have in The Finals’ new lore video.

The Finals new lore video possibly shows Season 4 map

As part of The Finals update 3.12.0, Embark added a new lore video to the game. Embark did tease that Season 4 hints might be hidden in update 3.12.0, so it’s possible the lore video is the alluded to hint. You can check out the video package below:

YouTuber RockhoundBlack is one of many who has hypothesized that an image of the Season 4 map is included in the lore video. As noted by the YouTuber, most of the video package includes fragmentray images of the Season 3 trailer as well as pre-existing maps.

However, at the 0.55 second mark, there is possibly a glimpse of a map that has not been introduced to the game yet. It’s difficult to decipher, but it appears to show part of a new map from a top-down perspective.

RockhoundBlack speculates it shows a “foot circular jump pad with a large red circle painted around it”. They also note there appears to be multiple-tiered balconies, and this is reminiscent of another map teaser that occurred before the launch of Season 2.

So far most predictions believe we are getting a map away from reality and that it will bring back the gameshow aspect of The Finals that was so popular in Season 1. Oscar mentioned in his recent livestream that the “gameshow is back,” and Season 1 was reality-based, Season 2 fantasy, and Season 3 went back to reality with Kyoto.
