Original story:
The Finals Season 3 is largely considered the worst out of all the chapter’s since Embark launched their free-to-play multiplayer shooter late last year. While players adore the Japanese setting, things were considered bad straight away thanks to a huge shift from seasons 1 and 2. Fortunately, Embark has delivered a big announcement for The Finals Season 4, and it is amazing news for the entire community.
The release date for The Finals Season 4 is now officially September 26th. The developer teased “official leak-week” is here, and a newly shared “certified mega banger” leak has fans gushing about the new upcoming season already. In addition, there is mystery surrounding the developer teasing their “absolute favorite weapon” is joining the game.
While leaks and teases are appreciated, what’s even better is official news. We’ve got our first proper announcement for The Finals Season 4, and it’s a declaration that has everyone eagerly anticipating S4’s arrival.
Cashout returns to Ranked in The Finals Season 4
During a livestream yesterday, Embark Oscar officially declared that Cashout is returning to Ranked in The Finals Season 4. A clip of the announcement has been shared to the game’s subreddit by OP, Raid36.
This is fantastic news. It was alluded to on the game’s Discord before, but now the return of Cashout to Ranked is official. It’s great to hear as the biggest disappointment for many with Season 3 was the replacement of Cashout in favor of Terminal Attack.
As for why Embark removed Cashout from Ranked in the first place, the developer explained that it was done so they could make changes to the mode. More changes have been delivered in the newly released update 3.12.0, and other alterations have been made throughout most of Season 3.
Reacting to the news on Reddit, all of the replies are unanimously delighted. More than half of the comments echo the sentiment “We are so f***ing back,” while other comments are thanking Embark for delivering the biggest change fans have wanted.
