The Finals dev “leak” shows new customization option is on the way

One of the best aspects of The Finals is all of the incredible drip. You can customize a male or female character for the different classes Light, Medium, and Heavy, but the customization options are, admittedly, not superb. Fortunately, a “leak” from The Finals developer shows a new customization option for your character is on the way.

You can check out the update 3.6.0 patch notes to see the latest big changes to Cashout, Terminal Attack, and more. Following these changes, fans have shared a PSA claiming there is no longer any reason not to self-kill in Cashout anymore to save your team from losing. In addition, Embark has released a new bundle with a “sick” Legendary outfit that you can buy and basically be paid back with an equal amount of Multibucks.

There is a lot to anticipate for the future of The Finals such as the anticipated release of the Emerald rank, and now the developer has shown that beards and facial hair are coming to the game.

On The Finals subreddit, OP Powerful-Setting2494 shared a post titled, ‘Beards are coming!‘. The post is accompanied with a clip showing beards working as a prototype currently in-development.

This video stems from the game’s official Discord. It was shared by Rob Embark with the message, “The prototypes are getting pretty good, a lot of setup and tweaks left, let’s try to get this live during the next season or so!”.

To this Embark Dusty replied, “Rob. You think you can leak here and I wont see it?”.

Judging by Rob’s post, the addition of facial hair/beards for character customization is hopefully arriving in Season 4.

Reacting to this clip on Reddit, fans are also requesting “more contestant slots” along with the ability to name slots. There is also hope that Embark will add more hairstyles, and some fans are simply hoping beards will be accessible for the ladies purely for the hilarity.
