Palworld fans have a very exciting summer ahead of them thanks to Pocketpair’s revealed plans. While summer is just over the horizon, right now fans have a new update to download on PC as well as Xbox. Here you will find the full Palworld update 0.2.4.0 patch notes that include huge changes to breeding and Alpha Pals.

As mentioned, if you are a fan of Palworld, then you have a lot to anticipate for the very near future. Pocketpair has confirmed that a summer update is on the way, and a trailer for this summer update has provided a look at four new pals set to join the open-world. In addition to this free bundle of new content coming soon, we are also set to get PvP Arena before 2024 ends.

While the bundle of summer fun is something to eagerly anticipate, right now Pocketpair has released update 0.2.4.0 for both PC and Xbox. The patch notes include some bug fixes but the biggest and best aspect is the added prospect of hatching Alpha Pals from breeding eggs.

Palworld update 0.2.4.0 patch notes

Below are the full patch notes for Palworld update 0.2.4.0 courtesy of Palworld_EN on Twitter:

Balance adjustment:

  • Increased the HP of all Alpha Pals (larger than normal Pals), including Lucky Pals, by 1.2
  • Breeding eggs now have a slight chance to produce an Alpha Pal
  • Reduced the damage reduction rate of enemy bosses by 18%. (The HP adjustment above has been adjusted so that battles don’t become too difficult.)
  • Items and Pals dropped on death can now be picked up by anyone 24 hours after they are dropped
  • Items and Pals dropped on death will now disappear 48 hours after they are dropped

UI:

  • Fixed a bug that notified all players on the server when someone finished or failed a raid

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug that caused synchronization issues when gates were opened
  • Many other minor bug fixes

As you can see, there are notable changes included in the balance adjustment. The best change is the prospect of hatching Alpha Pals from breeding eggs, but, unfortunately, the odds are ‘slight’ with no percentage provided by the developer.
