Palworld has over one hundreds pals part of the complete paldeck and even more have been added since the game’s early access launch in January. The developer has teased the arrival of even more and they will debut through free continuous updates. While many future additions remain a mystery, the Palworld devs have secretly provided a first look at a new Pal variant coming to the game.
There is a lot to anticipate for fans of Pocketpair’s adventure epic. There will the release of PvP Arena sometime this year, and before then we will be treated to a summer update that will add more new pals. In addition, the roadmap says the game will add more islands.
While datamines have uncovered the names of possible future additions, Pocketpair have released a new image that secretly includes a first look at a new variant of the iconic ice Pal, Chillet.
Palworld first look at Chillet variant
Palworld developer Pocketpair recently celebrated a huge milestone for the game. On April 28th, the official Palworld_EN Twitter account celebrated the fact that the adventure epic had been out for 100 days with 1.3 billion hours played.
This tweet was accompanied by an image showing pals in a living room looking at the milestones on a television screen. You can see the tweet and image embedded below:
While the milestones are impressive and stress the magnificent success of Palworld this year, what’s most interesting about the accompanying image is the Pal figurines on the TV counter. As pointed out by Reddit user PuniMoji, the image includes a very small first look at a Pal variant of Chillet.
We previously reported of a leak that uncovered the identities of many new pals and bosses possibly joining Palworld in the future. One of these datamine leaks was BOSS_WeaselDragon_Fire which was referred to as a fire version of Chillet.
Many fans ran with the humorous name ‘Grillet,’ and it seems that a fire version of Chillet is indeed coming to the land of Palworld as previously leaked. It looks exactly the same as Chillet which was expected as just a variant, but this time it is pink/red to represent fire instead of blue to represent ice.
In the Reddit comments, most people are just pointing out how ‘adorable’ the pink variant is with replies such as ‘How could chillet get even more cute’. Another user says it’s ‘heeccccin adorable’ while some comments wonder if the pink color is also to symbolize that it is female.
We don’t know when the new variant of Chillet will join the game, but we’re it’s not too far away. It could possibly debut in the summer update which has no specified release date as of writing.
