Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is set to launch in a couple of days. The full package isn’t releasing for another week, but fans will be able to play through the story before battling in multiplayer warfare. Sadly, MW3 campaign spoilers have reportedly begun surfacing online. If you want to go in completely blind, the unfortunate news is that you may be sniped by a spoiler out of nowhere.
The release time for the MW3 campaign early access is set for November 2nd. In addition, Activision has confirmed the preload date and start time for early access on PC with pre-downloads available on PlayStation and Xbox, too. It is a very chunky file size for the story alone, so you will definitely want to download it in advance so you can start teaming up with Captain Price as soon as possible.
But, until the campaign launches, you have to battle through the terrain of the internet and do your best not to be shot by devastating spoilers.
MW3 campaign spoilers surface online
Spoilers for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 early access campaign have reportedly begun to surface online. This warning comes courtesy of the ModernWarzone Twitter account which recommends muting specific words such as Makarov for social media. Although the OG installment was released back in 2011, the upcoming MW3 will be the first time many new fans play through the story at all.
Avoiding spoilers for new games can always be difficult as they can randomly appear on your social media feed or in your YouTube recommendations. Fortunately, for Call of Duty fans, there isn’t too much longer to wait to play the campaign yourself. The only editions you need to buy for early access to the story are the cross-gen bundle for console and the Standard package for PC. You do not need to purchase the uber-expensive Vault edition to play early.
If you plan to play on computer, you should know the minimum and recommended system requirements for PC. And, if you don’t care about the story at all, you simply have to wait until November 10th for online multiplayer and zombies to arrive. Dozens of multiplayer maps and locations are confirmed for launch, and there is also an insane amount of guns.
However, although multiplayer is always a blast, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaigns have been amazing since the Modern Warfare reboot back in 2019. MW3 promises to provide the best story yet, and the campaign comes with rewards to unlock. Again, be wary of spoilers potentially sniping you out of nowhere like a filthy camper. There’s a lot of love and investment in characters such as Captain Price, and the last thing anyone wants is story details spoiled whether you’re a new fan or a lifelong Call of Duty follower.
