How to preload MW3 Season 3 and download file size

We are set to get a brand new chapter of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 later today. It’s a very exciting update for the battle royale community as it also brings back Rebirth Island to Warzone. The release date and start time for MW3 Season 3 is set. As already mentioned, there is the return of Rebirth Island for Warzone, but Activision has also shared a roadmap detailing all of the new maps, modes, weapons, and more coming on day one as well as mid-season.

There is lots available to enjoy from day one of the update, and you can preload Modern Warfare 3’s newest episode ahead of launch so you can join the battlefield right away.

How to preload MW3 Season 3

MW3 Season is available to preload right now on PC via battle.net according to the Call of Duty community on Reddit. If you happen to play on PC and the update hasn’t begun, all you should need to do is open battle.net and select ‘Check for updates’. This should add the patch to your download manager.

If similar to Season 2, there should also be an update available to download for Modern Warfare 3 players on PS4 and PS5 ahead of the launch. For those who own a PlayStation, you can see if the update is available to download by following the below steps:

• Turn on your PS4/PS5
•  Head to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on the PS4/PS5 home screen
•  Select options on your DualShock/DualSense controller
•  Click check for update
