Leaked The Finals new skin and weapon will return soon

The Finals is in a sticky situation right now. Fans were happy with the release of update 3.4.0 thanks to its substantial amount of content, but it still isn’t available to download on Xbox. The frustration for Xbox players is obvious, but this frustration is now boiling over to PlayStation and PC. Embark has officially postponed this week’s update, and the leaked new skin and weapon for The Finals will return to the store soon.

As mentioned, this week’s update for The Finals is officially “postponed,” and Embark has apologized for the lengthy delay of 3.4.0 on Xbox consoles. The update provided lots of changes as well as confirmed the Emerald Rank is real, and the only major gripe fans had with the update is that it killed the fun of the CL-40 and there were no nerfs for the Light class.

While nerfs to the CL-40 and lack of nerfs for the Light class were disappointing, the major issue with the game right now is 3.4.0 still not getting approved for Xbox consoles. It has resulted in the postponement of this week’s update, and this means fans cannot get the new skin and weapon that were leaked for the store.

Below is the new skin and weapon leaked for The Finals’ next update as part of the store roation:

• Protocol Core set
• Mech-Arrow set
• FCAR animations set

Despite this week’s update being postponed, the above set were leaked in the contestant menu before fully being removed. Some players managed to snag the weapon and skin before their removal, and they look great.

You can check out showcases for both the skin and weapon in the embedded videos below by The Finals Skin Showcase YouTube channel. The Protocol Core outfit looks amazing and comes with a unique voice and motor sounds. Meanwhile, the recurve bow looks absolutely devastating and beautiful, too.

Unfortunately, there’s no specified day for when the above will return to the store. On Discord, Embark Oscar has said “the in-game timers have been updated to Friday” for the store and Pro Circuit, so they could possibly come back tomorrow. Either that or they will release with the update postponed to next week.
