Helldivers 2 players have a lot to anticipate when it comes to the Illuminate. Leaks have revealed a bunch of new enemies waiting to join the army of squids on the battlefield, and the good news is that Super Earth soldiers have reinforcements on the way, too, with players from Xbox waiting to join the fight. While we wait for reinforcements from Xbox to join PS5 and PC on the battlefield, Helldivers 2 players need to brace themselves for the Illuminate’s leaked plans to “target other planets”.

Helldivers 2 leak unearths Illuminate’s plans to “target other planets”

Prominent Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, has revealed how the Illuminate will use “monoliths” to “target other planets”. The leaker has revealed the army of squids are preparing “Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths,” and these will “be used to ‘target’ other planets, manipulating their gravitational pull in some way”.

In addition, Iron_S1ghts has revealed “A new planet effect has been added, allowing the Illuminate to set up large amounts of monoliths on a single planet”. As Super Earth soldiers, we will need to stop the Illuminate.

The above details are in addition to what Iron_S1ghts leaked back in April. A few months ago, the leaker pulled the curtain on the Illuminate gravitational monoliths, revealing that “The Illuminate will charge monoliths with Dark Fluid to harness gravitational energy, allowing them to manipulate the gravity of other celestial bodies”.

We don’t know when these monoliths will be added. It’s possible it could be when or slightly after the game joins Xbox towards the end of August, but there’s no ETA right now.

It’s also possible these monoliths get added with the newly leaked Illuminate enemies. These include a “sniper and close-range assassin,” the returning Illusionist, decoys, and a lot more.
