Although we don’t know exactly when, the full Illuminate fleet will eventually arrive in Helldivers 2. Leaks claim an invasion of Super Earth is being tested behind-the-scenes at Arrowhead, and, even though we’ve all felt it before, there is the feeling that an invasion is on the cusp. Naturally, everyone is hoping the full invasion happens sooner rather than later because of all the waiting, and now Helldivers 2 leaks have revealed “Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths” and more.

Helldivers 2 leak shares details of “Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths”

According to prominent Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, there will be “Illuminate Gravitational Monoliths”. It’s unknown what they look like, so “a cognitive disrupter” was used as part of the leak.

While the look of the device is unknown, Iron_S1ghts has said, “The Illuminate will charge monoliths with Dark Fluid to harness gravitational energy, allowing them to manipulate the gravity of other celestial bodies”.

In another tweet responding to a query about how it will affect gameplay and story, Iron_S1ghts said “Seems like it may be used to manipulate the “movement” of planets. Who knows, they may even manipulate the rotational speed of a planet, causing it to turn into a more glacial/scorched biome”.

Lastly, in addition to these monoliths, Iron_S1ghts shared a screenshot of an “Illuminate Inter-Galactic Network Code”. According to the description, “The structures on this planet allow the Illuminate to communicate outside the galaxy”.

Remember that these are leaks rather than anything official. Although unofficial, hopefully it’s a sign that the Illuminate are fully on the borders of Super Earth, ready to swarm in and unleash a full assault.
