Helldivers 2 fans have a lot to anticipate. It’s expected that a new Warbond is coming out before the end of July, meanwhile, there are numerous leaks about extra Illuminate ready to join the battlefield. While all of this is exciting stuff to anticipate, Arrowhead have just surprisingly announced a release date for Helldivers 2 on Xbox as they recruit more Super Earth soldiers.
Helldivers 2 Xbox release date
Arrowhead have conducted a livestream that is available to watch on the game’s official YouTube channel. During this livestream, Arrowhead confirmed an August 26th, 2025 release date for Helldivers 2 on Xbox Series X/S.
For the Xbox Wire, Helldivers 2 Game Director, Mikael Erikkson, said, “We know gamers have been asking for this for some time and we are so excited to bring more Helldivers into our game. We have so much more in store for the future months and years – and the more players we have the more stories we can tell! The fight for Super Earth has only just begun.”
You can pre-order Helldivers 2 from the Microsoft store right now. The Standard edition is £34.99, meanwhile, the Super Citizen edition is £51.99. Below are the bonuses for each package:
