Earlier this year a roadmap was leaked revealing what to expect in Fortnite for the rest of 2024. So far, everything has been correct, and a new leak has confirmed the next two featured artists that will be coming to Fortnite Festival following Metallica’s inclusion in Season 4.

In an X post by HYPEX, it was revealed that the next two featured Fortnite Festival artists will be Columbian pop singer Karol G, and the legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. Karol G is set to come to the game in Season 5 on August 16th, followed by the Gin and Juice rapper on October 3rd for Season 6. Both artists will receive Icon Series skins and will each feature in a interactive music event, similar to the Metallica event earlier this season.

In addition to the Snoop Dogg and Karol G collaborations, the 2024 roadmap also revealed plans for a new Marvel-themed season, as well as a return to Fortnite OG but this time focusing on the Chapter 2. It is unclear whether this plan is still set to go ahead due to the release of Fortnite Reload filling that void, but I hope it still goes ahead, landing at Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands again will be a lot of fun. This is all due to happen before Fortnite begins Chapter 6 in December.

There are still a few weeks left of Season 3, which will conclude with a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration that will bring Captain Jack Sparrow to the game as part of a mini Battle Pass. Fortnite’s summer event is still ongoing, with plenty of XP to earn to unlock new items in the Battle Pass, and Fortnite Reload has been a huge hit with players and even became more popular than the core Battle Royale modes during its first week.
