Like the previous seasons before it, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has continued to shake up the game, bringing vehicle modifications and multiple new POIs as the map has expanded in size. But alongside all of that, we’ve also seen the return of an NPC from Season 1 – Oscar – who brings with him a powerful fan favourite weapon.

Where is Oscar in Fortnite?
Oscar has returned to the Fortnite island, after having previously been a boss in Chapter 5 Season 1, and yes his Mythic Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun has also been unvaulted. He can be found lounging around the large cabin in the center of Classic Courts, a POI found in the northeast area of the map near the snow.
Once you find Oscar he will drop a random healing item like other Characters on the map. You will also have the option to duel Oscar. If you do this, you’ll immediately begin a fight with him, and killing him will grant you the Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun once you eliminate him.
Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun is an extremely powerful shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, especially due to its high fire rate. It has a base damage of 78, a 2.2 fire rate, holds 12 shotgun shells, and reloads in 4.44 seconds. It also comes fully equipped with four modifications, the 1.15x scoped view Red Eye Sight Optic, the Drum Mag which increases the Magazine Capacity from 8 to 12, the Vertical Foregrip to improve ADS, Recoil, and Spread, and the Muzzle Brake Barrel to further reduce Recoil.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 looks to be one of the most fun seasons we’ve seen so far this season, with Magneto coming to the game as the Battle Passes bonus skin, so there’s still plenty more new content to explore in the current build of the game.
