The new Fortnite season has brought many changes to the game. From a new Battle Pass and map changes to new items and buffs, players are in for a treat. Interestingly, the game developer decided to put vehicles into focus in Season 3, which is why they received big buffs. More specifically, Epic buffed the health pools of cars while also adding new attachments.

The new season will last for nearly three months, giving you more than enough time to explore every aspect of it. In this article, we will take a look at the latest changes to Fortnite vehicles, so you can adjust your strategy accordingly!

Fortnite vehicles have received a massive buff

For the first time in Fortnite, bosses have their own cars. Megalo Don, The Machinist, and Ringmaster Scarr all have their special rides that come with infinite Nitro! If you want to move quickly over the map and deal extra damage with vehicles, these three are certainly the best. However, you can also upgrade your own vehicles with new attachments.

By picking up new mods, you can add a machine gun turret to your vehicle or even a grenade launcher! Cow Catchers are back, but you can also use a Spiked Bumper to deal extra damage to both players and objects. If you’re not a fan of enemies popping your tires, you can make them bulletproof, or you can simply upgrade your ride with off-road tires for extra grip off the road.

On top of this, Fortnite vehicles have received a massive buff to their hit points. According to Hypex, the most reputable leaker, these are the latest changes:

  • Small cars: 800 to 1600 HP
  • Medium cars: 1000 to 2000 HP
  • Large cars: 1200 to 2400 HP
  • Extra large cars: 2500 to 3500 HP

Making this change makes a lot of sense considering there are new weapons that can easily take vehicles down. A Boom Bolt is a perfect ranged weapon for this, while you can also destroy vehicles with Nitro Fists if you’re a fan of melee combat.
