There are a range of different online game modes available now we have reached the UFC 5 release date. These include a variety which can be played either competitively or with your friends. Local play is also available for those on the same console.

How to invite friends in UFC 5

As we’ve already alluded to, there are two options for playing with your friends on UFC 5, either locally or online.

Online play

There are a range of modes available for those looking to play UFC 5 online. They are as follows:

  • Ranked Matches
  • Casual Matches
  • Custom Matches
  • Blitz Battles
  • Online World Championships

To play with your friends online, simply follow these steps:

  • Open UFC 5
  • Head to ‘Online’
  • Scroll to ‘Invite’
  • Select your friend you wish to invite
  • Pick your game mode
  • Fight!

Do be aware that you cannot play with your friends in either Ranked Matches or Online World Championships. These are competitive game modes dictated by skill ranking.

Local play

Playing locally is incredibly straightforward. Simply connect two controllers to the same console, select the ‘Local Multiplayer’ mode in the main menu and you are ready to go.

UFC 5 supports up to two players at any one time. There are no game modes available for more than two players.
