How to lose to Kazuya in Tekken 8 story mode

This should be pretty easy to do, but simply losing to Kazuya in Chapter 15 will not be enough to get the achievement. Instead, you must lose to him at the same point that you would beat him in the good ending. Here’s how to do it.

Firstly, you have to make your way through the fight as normal. There are several stages to this fight, in between which you’ll see some cutscenes and both Jin and Kazuya will heal. Play through the fight as normal, reducing Kazuya’s health bar to zero five times.

After the fifth time you beat Kazuya, another cutscene will play, and you’ll receive a quick time event with the prompt ‘I will not deny my existence.’ We recommend not pressing this, as it speeds things up a tiny bit. After this cutscene ends, Kazuya will be in Rage.

Alex’s Advice

If you lose at any point before the final fight, you can just restart the fight, so don’t worry about accidentally losing too early!

From here on out, just let Kazuya beat you. The best way to do this is simply holding forward into him and letting him land whatever hits he throws out. Occasionally, Jin will parry an attack, and hit Kazuya back. There’s no way to avoid this so just keep going for a couple of minutes until Kazuya eventually defeats you. After this, a cutscene plays showing Kazuya victorious and the aftermath of his world domination.

That’s it for how to get the Tekken 8 bad ending. If you want some character guides to help you get started, check out our Tekken 8 Reina, Tekken 8 Victor, and Tekken 8 Azucena guides for a look at all the new fighters.
