Where do you get Portable Pot Devices in Tears of the Kingdom?

You can get Tears of the Kingdom Portable Pots from Zonai Device Dispensers throughout Hyrule in exchange for Captain Construct I Horns. In the early game, you’ll come across one such Device Dispenser in the south of the Great Sky Island – the tutorial area where you’ll first get to grips with TotK’s new mechanics before being set loose into the broader open world. We’ve marked it on the map below.

Walk up to the bowl in front of the gacha-style dispenser, open your inventory, and hold some Zonai Charges or Construct Horns. Exit the inventory and tap A to place them in the dispenser. After a brief cutscene (which you can skip by taping X), the machine will dispense a random assortment of Zonai Devices, which may contain a Portable Pot capsule. Different Device Dispensers provide different Zonai Devices, so you need to make sure the Dispenser you’re using provides them, or try out new ones to check what possible devices they produce.

Note that Portable Pots are single-use devices, and once unwrapped from your bank of Zonai Devices, they can’t be put back. A portable pot has it’s own fire source, so there’s no need to place it on a campfire. You can only cook a single dish with the Portable Pot as it will vanish after use. We recommend using them sparingly and always have at least one in your inventory, just in case.
