In this guide we’ll cover how to help the Koroks reach their friends in Tears of the Kingdom. During the Great Sky Island starting area of Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll come across your first NPCs in need of help, Koroks trying to reunite with friends.
To finish this task you’ll need to utilise the Tears of the Kingdom Ultrahand ability, which can only be obtained after completing the Tears of the Kingdom Ukouh Shrine.
Where to find the first Korok on Great Sky Island
The Korok can be found lying down on a rock in between the Ukouh Shrine and In-Isa shrine. The co-ordinates are 0015, -1263, 1417.
Helping the Korok reach its friend in Tears of the Kingdom
To help the Korok reach its friend in Tears of the Kingdom you need to create a platform with a hook on top of it and stick the Korok to the platform with the Ultrahand ability. Then attach the platform’s hook to the rail and hop on. Once you’re at the other side, unstick the Korok from the platform and carry it to the friend with Ultrahand.
To create the platform, you’ll first need some logs. There’ll be some on the floor already, but if you need more you can chop some trees. You’ll want at least three logs to create a stable base. Once you have them, attach them to each other so the three are stuck together side-by-side. From there, grab one of the hooks on the floor nearby, and rotate it with Ultrahand so it’s straight. Attach it near the middle of the platform and you’re good to go. You can stick the Korok anywhere on the platform without it affecting the balance.
Once you’ve got to the other side with the Korok in hand, just interact with the lonesome friend and you’ll net two Korok Seeds for your troubles! For the other Koroks you’ll be using a similar method by sticking them to the objects needed to cross the gaps. You will have encountered similar Ultrahand-related challenges prior, so you should be able to quickly put together the solutions.
Where to find the second Korok on Great Sky Island
This one is found right down on the South area of the map. It’ll be lying down on the ground and the co-ordinates are 470, -1697, 1443. You’ll need to attach a fan to a cart to reunite this one.
If you’re exploring the first of the Tears of the Kingdom Sky Islands, and you need some guidance on where to go, we have a Tears of the Kingdom Shrine Locations guide that’ll point you in the right direction.
