Where to get Hylian Rice in Tears of the Kingdom
Hylian Rice can be reliably found in a few different locations in Tears of the Kingdom: Hateno Village, Zora’s Domain, Gerudo Town, and Korok Forest. Hateno Village is found in the Lanaryu region on the south east side of the map at coordinates 3356, -2152, 0118. Zora’s Domain is situated on the eastern side of the map at coordinates 3292, 0449, 0139. Gerudo town is found right in the south-west pocket of the map at coordinates -3869, -2948, 0033. Lastly is Korok Forest, which is almost directly North of Hyrule Castle at coordinates 0437, 2094, -0588.
Hylian Rice can be purchased at the previously mentioned four locations for 12 rupees a piece. Additionally, the travelling merchant Beedle sometimes has them in stock. If you’re unsure of who that is, he’s the guy with freckles and the bright red nose with a rather distinct voice. Cutting grass can also drop Hylian Rice, but the chances of this happening are extremely low.
Hylian Rice is used in meals such as Pilaf and Porridge, and is also needed for the Gourmets Gone Missing side adventure, where you’ll need to get a Meat and Rice Bowl. For that dish, all you need is Hylian Rice, Raw Meat, and Rock Salt.
We have a Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower locations guide, showing you where all 15 of the towers are to help you fill out the map of Hyrule and find all of the towns easier. We also have a Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyph Memories locations guide to help you fill out the story.
