The Starfield Volii system is one you’ll visit quite regularly during your Starfield playthrough, chiefly because it’s home to Neon, one of the major cities in Bethesda space-faring RPG. But aside from the pleasure city, there’s plenty more to discover in the Volii system.

Starfield Volii planets and moons

The Starfield Volii system consists of six planets and five moons. The system is southeast from Apha Centauri on the star map, sandwiched between the Olympus and Porrima systems, with Cheyenne and Kryx to the north. The dominant faction in the Volii system is the Freestar Collective. Here are all the planets in the Volii system.

Volii Alpha

Volii Alpha is the main planet in the Starfield Volii system and home to the city of Neon. Though a temperate planet with reasonable gravity, Volii Alpha is covered by water. It’s globe-covering sea is inhabited by underwater alien creatures offering plenty of fishery opportunities. It was originally used as a fishing platform until the Xenofresh Corporation discovered that the alien fish’s oil held mind-altering properties and started farming them to manufacture the drug Aurora.

Nowadays, Neon is described as a pleasure city, full of bars, gangs, corporate dealings, and unique experience to sate all the senses. Neon is also home to Ryujin Industries, a mega-corporation and faction players can join for a string of quests that explore the seedy underbelly of corporate espionage.

Volii Beta

Volii Beta is a scorched rock-type planet in the Volii system that’s fairly unremarkable other than it’s a decent place to mine helium-3, aluminum, and beryllium. It has one moon called Volii Delta.

Volii Epsilon is the third planet from the Volii system’s star. A rock-type planet, it has one moon, dubbed Volii Gamma.

Volii Tau is an extreme environment planet located in the Volii system that has two moons, Volii Phi and Volii Psi.

Volii Omega

Volii Omega is the largest planet in the Volii system. Players are unable to land on Omega due to its characteristics as a ringed gas giant, but it does have one orbiting moon, Volii Upsilon, ripe for mining resources and exploration.

Volii Chi is the fifth and furthest planet from the Volii system’s star. As an ice-type planet, it’s not all that accommodating to visitors, but is a solid option for mining lead and H2O.
