One of the three worlds packaged with the base game, Willow Creek is a cozy small town with a New Orleans feel. The 21 lots that are in this world are split up into five neighborhoods: Crawdad Quarter, Sage Estates, Pendula View, Foundry Cove, and Courtyard Lane. This world is also home to the Goth family, one of the most famous households in Sim history. It also boasts a beautiful park, museum, library, nightclub, and gym.

Oasis Springs

Also coming free with the base game, Oasis Springs is a beautiful spring in the hot desert. You can find the Caliente and Landgraab families here, among others. There are 21 lots again, broken into the Skyward Palms, Mirage Canyon, Acquisition Butte, Bedrock Straight, and Parched Prospect neighborhoods. This desert world also contains a park, museum, and gym. However, it also has a lounge and a bar. All the other lots are residential.

Newcrest

The final of the worlds available in the base game, Newcrest is the only completely vacant world in the game. While there are 15 lots available, all of them are empty for players to build their own Sims world. It’s pretty generic and green, with lush lots and views of a city nearby. The freedom of Newcrest is its biggest appeal, especially if you’re an avid builder or storyteller.

Magnolia Promenade

Coming with the Get to Work expansion, Magnolia Promenade is the smallest residential world in the game. It only contains four lots, meant for retail. There are three storefronts already there, Paddywack’s Emporium, JF&S Clothiers, and The Roadstead. This world is special in making great space for players to build and purchase their own retail store, a gameplay feature available with the Get to Work expansion pack.

Windenburg

Windenburg comes with the Get Together expansion and features a blend of the new and the old. Featuring a huge 27 lots both residential and business, there are coffee shops, ancient ruins, and haunted estates to visit. The town features both modern buildings for its nightlife scene, as well as beautiful old Gothic-style estates. Windenburg is the largest world ever released for The Sims 4.

San Myshuno

San Myshuno was the first taste of the big city for The Sims 4, appropriately coming with the City Living expansion. This bustling metropolis hosts tons of apartments for Sims to live in, from broken-down fixer-uppers to lush penthouses. Along with apartments come the various karaoke bars around town, and the festivals that will pop up for Sims to take part in. These include the Spice Festival, GeekCon, the Romance Festival, the Humor & Hijinks Festival, and the Flea Market.

Under a near-constant cover of clouds and rain, Forgotten Hollow takes a turn at nighttime and comes alive with vampires looking for their next meal. It’s also home to the infamous Vladislaus Straus, who always comes to greet your Sims and tell them about their lovely neck.

Filled to the brim with pets, this world contains a vet clinic and dog park for your Sims to keep their furry friends happy and healthy.

Del Sol Valley

There’s nowhere like Del Sol Valley if your Sims are looking for stardom. Introduced inside of the Get Famous expansion pack, Del Sol Valley is largely inspired by Los Angeles. It features both starter homes for starving artists and ritzy mansions for world-famous celebrities with 11 lots. Along with them are hotspots around town like lounges and clubs, which will only let Sims in depending on their fame level.

StrangerVille

Inspired by the classic Strangetown from The Sims 2, this town was included with the eponymous StrangerVille game pack. A desert town with a dark secret lurking in the labs, it’s up to your Sims to figure out what’s going on with the strange plants and possessions that are taking control of the city. What’s the military doing here? What’s in the lowest level of the lab? It’s up to you to solve the mystery and save StrangerVille.

Featuring lush, sandy beaches and crystal blue waters for swimming and fishing, Sulani is inspired by the Polynesian islands. Join in on the culture of the islands with the locals and help clean up the beaches of trash and debris. Be careful, though, as you could experience volcanic activity while you’re living here or visiting.

Glimmerbrook

Spellcaster Sims need to look no further for a home than Glimmberbrook, which comes with the Realm of Magic game pack. A beautiful world filled with cottages and woods, it looks straight out of a fairytale. While the world only has five lots, there is a portal on the river that takes your Sims to the Realm of Magic, where they can buy brooms and potion ingredients, and meet other magical Sims.

Britechester

The home of two rival colleges, Britechester is for students going to school with the Discover University expansion pack. Foxbury Institute and the University of Britechester can be found here, along with Gibbs Hill in between for students to hang out at. Both college campuses feature dorms and commons for students of each university.

Henford-on-Bagley

Nestled in the quiet countryside, Henford-on-Bagley came bundled with the Cottage Living expansion pack. This little village is perfect for Sims looking to have their own farm, with fertile land for crops and plenty of space for cows, llamas, and chickens. The Finchwick Fair lets players show off their hard work by judging animals, baked goods, and crops. Plus, you can help out your neighbors around town by completing favors for them for rewards.

Tartosa

The perfect place to walk down the aisle, Tartosa is the beautiful world included with the My Wedding Stories pack. This gorgeous coastal land features wedding venues for Sims to tie the knot at, as well as both residential lots and vacation rentals for Sims looking to celebrate their love. Beaches, waterfalls, and a beautiful downtown are all a part of the Tartosa experience.

Moonwood Mill

Moonwood Mill is the ultimate werewolf spot, coming bundled with the Werewolves game pack. What once was an old lumber mill is now filled with the magic of the full moon. While there are only five lots to play with, Moonwood Mill comes with a library and a bar for Sims. This town is also crawling with werewolves, as the packs reside in this old world. It’s perfect for your beastly Sims to find a home at.

Copperdale

Nestled on a rocky shoreline, Copperdale is available for those with the High School Years expansion pack. All teenage Sims will spend their time at Copperdale High, making memories from sporting events to prom night. Along with the high school, the pier is a great spot, featuring carnival rides for teens and their families to enjoy. Go team!

San Sequoia

There’s nowhere more perfect to raise a family than San Sequoia with the Growing Together pack. Based on San Franciso, this harbor town features plenty of residential homes to begin a new generation of Sims. Along with the cozy neighborhoods comes the Recreation Center, where families can find fun no matter what age they are. There are 12 lots in San Sequoia, which include parks, the Recreation Center, and a library.

Enjoy the night market downtown for plenty of street eats, or head on down to the tiger sanctuary to keep the wildlife of the land alive. You’ll be very close (sometimes too close) with your neighbors as you become a tenant or a landlord.

Evergreen Harbor

Evergreen Harbor’s future is up to you in this additional world that comes with the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack. Evergreen Harbor is a polluted industrial city that desperately needs a taste of green. Clean up the city by voting on Neighborhood Action Plans, and using environmentally friendly materials like solar panels. Make sure to reduce, reuse, and recycle, or else Evergreen Harbor won’t look so green when it’s covered in smog.

Chestnut Ridge

Chestnut Ridge is a haven for all horses, coming with the Horse Ranch expansion pack. An old western-style town, there’s plenty of space for your new horse, sheep, and goat companions to roam around. Train them well so they can compete in championships in town, and become championship riders. This world also lets you ride your horses through town. You can go line dancing at the bar, or enjoy the country life on your very own ranch.

Vacations aren’t just for destinations

You’ll be able to disconnect from technology and experience the wild in Granite Falls.

Selvadorada

This destination world is perfect for explorers, coming bundled with the Jungle Adventure game pack. Inspired by South America, Selvadorada is a rich cultural hub, as well as filled with secrets to explore.
