Looking for the Palworld dungeon locations? Dungeons are an common feature in Pocketpair’s survival RPG, and though they can offer some good rewards, they’re not always easy to find.
Here then let’s go over all the Palworld dungeon locations, and explain how you can navigate them and what they can offer you. If you’re still catching up on other mechanics and want to know how to get High-Quality Pal Oil, Cement, Cloth, or any other material, check out our catalogue of guides.
Where to find all the dungeons in Palworld
Here’s where to find every dungeon in Palworld. Given just how many there are, explaining how to reach them all one-by-one would take a bit too long. Fortunately, thanks to IGN’s interactive map, we’ve got a useful image showing the rough locations across the Palapagos Islands.
Once you’re in a dungeon, getting through it can be a headache. There will be plenty of hostile NPCs inside, but even more of a pain is actually finding the exit. Follow the steps below and, at least in most cases, you shouldn’t have too much trouble.
- Hug the right wall on entering, and take the first right turn.
- Hug the left wall of the next room, and take the first left turn.
- Head across the large natural stone bridge to the room adorned by a giant tree.
- Defeat the boss pal located here.
- Go past the tree to find the reward chests and the exit portal.
Keep in mind that not all dungeons follow this pattern. There will be plenty of occasions where the layout is different and the steps above don’t work – they’re simply the most common layout for dungeons to follow. In every case though the route to the boss room will always be preceded at some point by a long natural stone bridge spanning the full length of a room, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
Are the dungeon rewards worth the effort to explore?
We’d argue that yes, dungeons are worth exploring, at least in the early and mid game. Not only do many dungeons contain rare types of Pals, particularly dark types, but each boss can be caught, and they’re all alpha variants of their respective pals, making them significantly stronger.
If you choose to explore thoroughly, you’ll find a handful of other chests containing gold, schematics, and more useful items when you’re just starting out. The two purple chests at the very end often contain especially good schematics, as well as gemstones like rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, which can be sold for a handsome sum of gold to merchants.
That’s everything we’ve got for you on the Palworld dungeon locations, navigation and rewards.
