Who are the NHL 24 best teams?

As you would expect, the best teams in the game come from the Nation Hockey League, or NHL. A handful of international teams are in the mix too, with USA, Sweden, Finland, and Canada all strong.

All the Alumni teams in the game are epic. Each is among the very best available to use. However, you can only use them in quick play game modes.

With the best player in the game, Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers are one of the best teams to use. They also have Leon Draisaitl on their roster, meaning they have the two best centers in NHL 24. Nathan MacKinnon, Aleksander Barkov, Auston Matthews, and veteran Sidney Crosby all feature in the centers list too.

Tampa Bay Lightning have one of the strongest teams too. That is in large part to their goalie, Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Russians goaltending ability is second to none as he ranks number one in the NHL 24 best goalies ratings. Igor Shesterkin and Ilya Sorokin come close, but not close enough.

Colorado Avalanche have NHL 24 cover athlete Cale Makar on their roster, and they are not short of talent. Makar is one of the best defensemen in NHL 24, alongside the likes of Roman Josi, Victor Hedman, and Charlie McAvoy.

On offense, the Dallas Stars are among the best with the likes of LW Jason Robertson on their team. Robertson’s overall rating of 92 puts him among the NHL 24 best left wings with the likes of Matthew Tkachuk, Brady Tkachuk, Artemi Panarin, and Alex Ovechkin.

On the other side it is David Pastrnak who leads the NHL 24 best right wings list. The Boston Bruins star has a ovr rating of 95 this season, making the Bruins and Czechia two of the highest-rated teams available. The Avalanche’s Mikko Rantanen and Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov are also among the best having been terrific last season.
