Looking for the best Sidewinder loadout in MW3 and Warzone We have just what you need. There are lots of good battle rifles in Modern Warfare 3 but the Sidewinder has a high-damage rare that just puts it above a lot of the others especially if you prefer to battle it out in close or mid-range encounters.

And like every other weapon, the Sidewinder has its downsides. However, our recommended loadout and attachments will help you utilise the weapon at its best. Before we take you through the weapon’s loadouts and attachments, you might want to go over our MW3 multiplayer tips and tricks for ways on how to garner XP and win matches. And if you prefer a sniper rifle, consider our MW3 FJX Imperium loadout.

Best Sidewinder loadout and attachment in MW3 and Warzone

  • Magazine: 30 Round Drum
  • Muzzle: Lockshot KT85
  • Optic: KR Mortis Precision 2.5x
  • Underbarrel: FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip
  • Ammunition: 450 Hunstman High Grain Rounds

We’re starting our best Sidewinder loadout in MW3 and Warzone with the 30-Round Drum magazine which is far better than the weapon’s default 20-Rounds to save yourself from reloading every second. For the under barrel, I’ve gone with the FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip which provides better aim when wielding this battle rifle.

The Slimline Pro is a popular ammunition amongst many battle rifle users but in the case of the Sidewinder, I prefer the 450 Hunstman High Grain Rounds which despite having heavy bullets, can deal some serious damage from afar. But that’s why I combined it with the Lockshot KT85 muzzle which provides good control for the vertical and horizontal recoil but will decrease your ADS speed a little.

For Optic, the KR Mortis Precision 2.5x provides a precise view that puts the enemy in your sight. Choosing an optic isn’t as crucial for battle rifles as it is with Snipers, so while you can go with any optic for the Sidewinder, the KR Mortis Precision 2.5x can make the difference between winning or losing a match.

Best Sidewinder perks and equipment in MW3

  • Vest: Overkill Vest
  • Gloves: Marksman Gloves
  • Boots: Stalker Boots
  • Gear: Threat Identification System
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade

The Overkill Vest will increase the Sidewinder’s swap speed, letting you reload on the run. You should also use the Marksman Gloves to decrease flinch in ADS mode. For Boots, you ought to use the Stalker Boots to reduce the sound of your footsteps, giving you a chance to perform finishing moves on enemies.

As for your gear, the Threat Identification System works really well with certain game modes such as Kill Confirmed because it pings you to enemy locations when you’re in ADS mode. The Stun and Frag Grenade are usually good choices for lethal and tactical, but you can also experiment with the Semtex or even the Smoke Grenade and discover what works best for you.

Power over flexibility

The Sidewinder is a powerful and versatile weapon in MW3, well-suited for medium to long-range engagements. Its high damage, good accuracy, and fast rate of fire make it a top choice for players looking for a hard-hitting rifle. While it’s not as effective at very long ranges as a sniper rifle, the Sidewinder can still be a deadly weapon in the right hands. Its impressive recoil control and fast reload speed make it a reliable choice for any situation.
