Modern Warfare 2: Mission 10 Walkthrough – Violence And Timing 

Violence And Timing follows directly on from Recon By Fire, with Gaz and Price pulling out all the stops and calling in favors to rescue Laswell from her Al Qatali captors. And with Farah along to lend support, Violence And Timing is a real Modern Warfare reunion. 

In this spectacle-filled mission, you’ll get to the front of the Al Qatali convoy by any means necessary, from to providing air support to jumping in and hijacking vehicles.

Modern Warfare 2 Violence And Timing Walkthrough

As Violence And Timing begins, you’ll be once again controlling Gaz, providing covering fire from the back of a helicopter. In pursuing the SUV that is transporting Laswell, you’ll have to make your way through the whole convoy of AQ soldiers. 

Civilian casualties are not allowed, but thankfully AQ has made avoiding them easy by exclusively traveling in bright yellow vehicles.  

Take out as many AQ soldiers in the backs of the trucks as you can while moving forward. Several trucks have red barrels in the back, target the barrels to trigger a detonation and remove all the soldiers at once. 

Occasionally, a heavily-armored AQ soldier will pop up from a truck, attempting to lock onto your heli with a missile launcher. Target the glowing red dot and drop them as soon as possible.

Modern Warfare 2: Violence And Timing – The Fall 

After taking out many of the trucks, an impact will rock your transport and Gaz will fall out, suspended upside-down by a rope. You’ll have to fend off more Al Qatali soldiers with your pistol from this position, until you can safely cut loose and land on the back of a truck. 

 Once safely on the truck, you are able to leap to nearby AQ-controlled vehicles, hijacking them and taking them for yourself. Proceed forward, alternating between driving and leaning out to drop enemies when close enough. 

After taking out enough vehicles, AQ wil set up a roadblock ahead. Don’t worry about slowing down to clear a path, simply barge through and take them out. 

Beyond the roadblock, the enemy will have begun laying mines on the highway, destroying your vehicles and civilians alike. Keep a careful eye on the road to avoid the mines as you make your way up to the vehicle dropping them. Take out the mine-throwing soldier to clear the road once more. 

With the mines cleared, hop back into Price’s truck, restock your ammo and equip the grenade launcher. Now you’ll be picking off pursuing AQ trucks instead of attempting to get ahead. Lead with your grenade launcher shots a little and the enemy vehicles will drive right into the explosion. 

The Final Push 

Hop back onto another truck and take out the remnants of the convoy as you approach Laswell’s position. If you have any ammo remaining in the grenade launcher, it’ll speed things up dramatically. 

The final few enemy vehicles will begin deploying bomb drones. Carefully pick them out of the sky as you approach, as they can home in on your vehicle and deal massive damage on impact. Drop the drone pilot to clear the skies. 

More mines will be laid ahead as an APC opens fire on you, and you can’t take it out with your weapons from a distance. Instead, you’ll have to weave past the mines, close distance with the APC, jump to it and plant an explosive. 

With the APC gone, AQ will halt their vehicles and make a final stand. Take cover and slowly move forward on foot as you take out the remaining enemy soldiers. Once they have all been dispatched, open the door of the black SUV to complete Violence And Timing in Modern Warfare 2.
