The Madden 24 99 Club was one of the most highly-anticipated among the rating reveals pre-launch. A handful of the best NFL stars received the maximum overall in the game, making it an exclusive club for those involved.
Now the Madden 24 release date is well behind us, the Madden 24 ratings are well known. EA had previously confirmed five members of the 99 Club ahead of the new season, with Kansas City Chiefs pair Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes the last to be shown off.
However, EA has now unveiled a new addition to the club. Find out more below.
Madden 24 99 Club
The Madden 24 99 Club is an exclusive list of the top NFL players in the game. There were just four players in the Madden 23 99 Club, highlighting just how special players need to be in order to make the cut.
Last year, two defensive ends made the 99 Club, which were LA Rams’ Aaron Donald and Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett. Alongside them, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams also made the grade with a 99 OVR. And to complete last year’s club was San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams.
More than four players have made the list this year. The Madden 24 ratings were revealed throughout the week beginning July 17. The Madden 24 wide receiver ratings were the first to be announced, and EA rounded things off by announcing the Madden 24 QB ratings.

Justin Jefferson – 99 overall
Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson was named the first 99-rated player for this year’s game. Jefferson’s first appearance in the 99 Club comes off the back of a sensational season where he led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving yards per game. Along with the fact that Jefferson had eight receiving touchdowns, he also came away with the catch of the year in 2022, pulling off a play that was simply jaw-dropping to behold and still is today.
Aaron Donald – 99 overall
Aaron Donald has now made his seventh straight 99 Club appearance in Madden, which is a new all-time record. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year Award Winner continues to solidify his greatness on a yearly basis. And although he didn’t have the most glamorous of seasons over 2022, one can always make an argument for why Donald should be in the 99 Club, particularly when he’s still in his prime.
Zack Martin – 99 overall
The Dallas Cowboys long-time right guard, Zack Martin, is the third member to make the 99 Club in Madden 24, becoming the first guard to achieve this honor since 2003. Martin, who’s an eight-time Pro Bowler, also made First Team All-Pro in four of his last five seasons. A year ago, Martin received a 98 overall rating. So as you can imagine, it was only fitting for him to reach the 99 mark after another excellent season in 2022.
Travis Kelce – 99 overall
Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce has more appearances in the Madden 24 99 Club than any other Tight End in history. The eight-time Pro Bowler has also made First Team All-Pro four times, and it a two-time Superbowl Champion. Kelce was the highest-rated Tight End in Madden 23 with a 98 overall, but he has gone one better this year and re-joins the 99 Club.
Patrick Mahomes – 99 overall
Patrick Mahomes was the fifth and final player to be named in the Madden 24 99 Club pre-release. The two-time NFL MVP is the perfect modern quarterback, blending athleticism and precision to perfection. Mahomes has been a Pro Bowler for five consecutive years, so his inclusion in the 99 Club is justified. The sky is the limit for Mahomes, and he could be set to become one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL.
Tyreek Hill – 99 overall
The latest player to be added to the list is Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill. The Miami Dolphins star boasts 99 speed and 99 acceleration in Madden 24, so good luck stopping him. Hill becomes the first Miami Dolphin to be named in the exclusive list after an explosive start to the new season. Two touchdowns in in the against the Chargers in Week 1 was followed by another TD against the Patriots, and he has now been rewarded for his efforts.
