The time for Madden 24 pre-order is now. With various bonuses, editions, and prices available, make sure you know which version of the game suits your needs best. EA Sports released the pre-order Madden NFL period back in June, but time is now running out before the full launch of the game.

The Madden 24 release date is fast approaching, and with new cover athlete Josh Allen leading the charge, Madden is set for a big year. Players can access pre-order bonuses that will gift them rewards for Madden Ultimate Team to help get things started.

We’re here to shed light on all the pre-order information you need to know before making your decision on which copy fits you best.

Madden 24

How much does Madden 24 cost?

At the time of this writing, there’s currently three different editions of Madden 24 – the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition, and the EA Play Pro Edition.

When you visit the pre order page for Madden 24, you will see that each has a photo of Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, who became the first Bills player to be featured as a cover athlete on a Madden title. With that said, here’s a look at the editions Madden 24 has to offer and the prices each comes with.

Standard Edition

Should you pre order the Madden 24 Standard Edition using EA Play, you can save $7 USD, making it only a $62.99 USD purchase. Those living in the UK can save £7.

  • Xbox One – $69.99 / £69.99

EA Play Pro Edition

EA Play Pro subscribers can access the Madden 24 EA Play Pro Edition for no further charge than their existing subscription fee.

The biggest surprise this year with Madden 24’s pre orders, is that there is no price differential between what current generation and next generation players will be paying for both the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game.

Despite Madden 24 still only providing its biggest gameplay feature FieldSENSE 2.0 on next generation platforms, fans who play on Xbox Ones or PlayStations 4’s will still have to pay the same price. Should you be after affordability, the best choice is to pre order the copy you want by using EA Play, which allows you to save up to $10 USD when pre ordering the Deluxe Edition.

Naturally, each of the two pre order edition bonuses are not entirely the same, with the Deluxe coming with a few more extra goodies that Standard Edition buyers wouldn’t be able to receive.

Here’s a look at each of the Madden 24 editions and the bonuses they come with.

Though you do need an EA account to pre order the Loyalty Deluxe Edition, you will also get 10% off your purchase along with some great rewards. Here’s a look at all the prizes that come with the Loyalty Deluxe Edition of Madden 24 you can pre order in-game.

  • Base Game
  • Dual Entitlement

  • Choice of 2 Strategy Items (1 Offensive, 1 Defensive)
  • NFL Marble Bills Gear
  • 3 Day Early Access
  • 4600 Madden Points

  • 99 Overall Golden Ticket Player Fantasy Pack (Choose 1 of 15)

Again, this Loyalty Edition can only be purchased in-game, and isn’t available on the pre order page for Madden 24. Seeing you save 10% on your purchase along with the fact that you unlock a free Golden Ticket player for Madden 23, the Loyalty Deluxe Edition is probably the biggest bang for your buck out of all the choices available right now.

Whether another edition will be added into the mix, is something Madden 24 has yet to disclose and confirm. Last year, Madden 23 only released two editions, which consisted of a Standard and an All Madden deluxe version. If EA Sports intends on sticking with that formula, then we could very well be looking at the only two editions that will arrive with Madden 24.

What’s new in Madden 24?

There are plenty of changes coming to Madden 24. A new gameplay system offers players greater control in offense, with skill-based passing, new throw animations, and catching styles at your disposal. On defense, enhanced AI technology provides greater realism when facing strong opposition.

The gameplay is not the only aspect that has seen change. New mini-games, revamped free agency, and extra trade slots with new trade logic tuning have all arrived in Franchise mode to help develop your roster. In the returning Superstar mode, you can take part in the NFL combine, increasing your ovr, and creating your own NFL legacy. Real-time player grading has also been introduced so you can see quickly how well you are playing.
