How to have twins without cheating in Sims 4

Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee your Sim to get pregnant with twins without using cheats. There is a way you can increase the odds though, and that’s by purchasing the fertile trait in the rewards store.

Open up the rewards store in Live Mode by opening the Aspirations tab and hit Rewards Store. Scroll down until you find the fertile trait. You can unlock it for 3,000 Satisfaction Points. While this will not guarantee your Sim will get pregnant with twins, it will greatly increase the odds.

How to have twins using cheats in Sims 4

f you don’t mind cheating in Sims 4, you can guarantee that your Sim will have twins. Here’s how:

• Open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C.
• Get the desired Sim’s ID by typing the following into the console: sims.get_sim_id_by_name firstname lastname
• Type the following code to guarantee this sim has twins: pregnancy.force_offspring_count SIM ID 2 (or desired number of babies)

Cheating isn’t for everyone, but this method is the only way to guarantee that your Sim will have twins. Bear in mind that using cheats will disable achievements in the game.

How to have twins using expansion packs in Sims 4

If you have various expansion packs for the game, you can further increase your odds of having twins in The Sims 4.

The Spa Day game pack will give you the option of having a fertility massage in a spa. This will bolster your odds of having twins, or even triplets. You can even have your Sim train the massaging skill and give the desired Sim a fertility massage. Although, you will need to purchase a massage table for this to work.

The City Living pack allows you to give your sim the ‘On the Ley Line’ trait. This increases the fertility of the selected Sim, boosting their odds of having twins.

Owning the Outdoor Retreat pack introduces the Herbalism skill into the game. This will allow your sim to create the Elixir of Fertility, which will increase the desired Sim’s chances of having twins or triplets. 

Finally, if you have the Romantic Garden Stuff pack, you’ll be able to increase fertility by making a wish to the wishing well.
