How to fix 0 Helldivers Active bug in Helldivers 2
The 0 Helldivers Active bug shows up when you’re viewing the Galactic War menu when searching for missions to do. On the sidebar, where it normally shows you how many active players there are, along with ‘Enemies Killed’, ‘Helldivers KIA’, and ‘Bullets Fired’, it shows a big, round zero for all of them.
This might just seem like a UI error, but it has the unfortunate added effect of meaning you will be completely unable to connect with other players. So if you’re playing solo and looking for some help in quickplay, you’re out of luck. Here’s what you can do to remedy this issue:
Restart your game, PC, or console
Sometimes, a quick restart is all you need to get things up and running again. Close your game and boot it back up to see if that works. If not, try restarting your whole system. This will likely solve the issue. But if it doesn’t, or if you don’t want to restart for fear of losing your place in-game, we have another option.
Avoid quickplay
Instead of using Quickplay to find a match, open up your Galactic War console and choose a planet that you want to do a mission on. Make sure you have your matchmaking settings set to public before starting.
Select your chosen difficulty level, and then search the planet for any icons that show currently ongoing missions or SOS Beacons representing players asking for help. Select one of these and you’ll be able to join their game as normal. It’s not an ideal solution, but until a proper fix is implemented, it’s the best we’ve got.
