Limgrave Colosseum Modes

Interacting with the effigy of Marika in the Caelid Colosseum at the Limgrave Colosseum offers two modes.

United Combat Mode – Two teams of one or more players face each other in a limited-time fight of 300 seconds. During the fight, players must kill each other to rack up points. The team or player with the highest point tally at the end wins. Flasks of Crimson and Cerulean Tears are allowed.

Combat Ordeal Mode – A free-for-all where all players are enemies that’s similar in format to United Combat. Players have 300 seconds to rack up the biggest tally of kills. Flasks of Crimson and Cerulean Tears are allowed.

Leyndell Colosseum Modes

Visiting the Royal Colosseum in Leyndell allows you to play a single mode – Duel.

Duel Mode – Players engage in a classic 1vs1 fight to the death with no respawns. The first one to kill the other wins. Each fight lasts a maximum of 180 secs. Players can use Flasks of Cerulean Tears but no Crimson Tears.

Caelid Colosseum Modes

Stepping up to the effigy of Marika in the Caelid Colosseum gives you all the modes from the other colosseums to choose from and try out. Spirit ashes are permitted for use in all modes here, meaning you can summon any spirit ashes you may have to help you fight off other players.

Duel Mode – Same as above, but with spirit ashes allowed.

United Combat Mode – Same as above, but with spirit ashes allowed.

Combat Ordeal Mode – Same as above, but with spirit ashes allowed.

That covers it for the new PvP modes in the Elden Ring Colosseum update. Check out our Elden Ring Colosseum locations guide if you’re having trouble tracking down the colosseums.
