- There are three colosseums in Elden Ring, they are found in Limgrave, Leyndell, and Caelid.
- To enter them, you need to find each one and then they can be access from the statue in the Roundtable Hold.
The Elden Ring Colosseum update brings a whole host of new PvP opportunities while also solving the mystery of those inaccessible arenas scattered across the Lands Between. These colosseums have been in the game since launch but they weren’t accessible until the patch that enabled them was released in December 2023. Finding the colosseum locations in Elden Ring will let you take part in several PvP modes, or simply catch a glimpse of their interior. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the location of each of these and how to get there.
Elden Ring colosseum locations
The Elden Ring Colosseum update opens up three coliseums, one in Limgrave, another in Leyndell, and the last in Caelid. In a curious move by From Software, none of the Colosseums has a dedicated Site of Grace to ease travel, nor has the developer introduced any new ones with the update, so reaching them requires a little bit of a journey. Here’s how to reach them.
Limgrave colosseum location
The first colosseum is in Stormhill, Limgrave, east of the castle and just north of the Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace. You’ll spot it on the map as a semi-circle dominating the area. It sits on a cliff on Limgrave’s northernmost coast. To reach the Limgrave Colosseum, travel to the Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace and follow the road north through a small forest, then under the Limgrave Tower Bridge.

Leyndell, Royal Capital colosseum location
The second is the Royal Colosseum in Leyndell. It’s in the southern part of the city, just east of the Elden Throne and the Erdtree. How to reach it depends on where you are in the game. If you’ve yet to finish up the main story, travel to the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace and follow the walkway forward and up the cliff to reach the Colosseum.
If you’ve become the Elden Ring and are in the post-game, the easiest way to reach the Colosseum is to travel to the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace. From there, make your way down to the city below, now engulfed in ash. Head north and hug the left of the fallen dragon until you come to an opening with a ladder that leads up to where the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace was previously. From there, follow the walkway and head up the cliff to reach the Colosseum.
Caelid colosseum location
The last Colosseum is in northern Caelid and can be troublesome to reach. It’s north of the Isolated Merchant’s Shack Site of Grace and the Minor Erdtree Catacombs. To reach it, travel to the Deep Siofra Well Site of Grace and follow the canyon north. The way is scattered with archer golems and abnormal stone clusters more than happy to stunt your progress, so be wary as you advance. Once out of the canyon, head forward onto the peninsula jutting out into the sea to the north and past the giant jar to find the Colosseum.
How to enter the Colosseum in Elden Ring
To enter a colosseum in Elden Ring, interact with the statue next to the fireplace in the Roundtable Hold to enter into a PVP match. The other way to do this is to go to the Colosseums and open the front door by pressing ‘Open’ when prompted. When you do either of these things, you can choose the ruleset for the match you want.
There are three PVP modes to choose from, and these are combat ordeal, united combat, and duel mode. Duels are 1v1 modes that let you do as you please against another opponent. Depending on which colosseum you enter, there will be different rules. The battles inside the Caelid Colosseum let you use Spirit Ashes and have no restrictions. United Combat sees two teams of three duke it out, with the winner being crowned based on kills when the timer runs out. During this mode, you can respawn to your heart’s content. The final mode, Combat Ordeal, is a free-for-all mode that puts everyone against each other. The person with the most kills at the end wins.
