The long wait for the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC may soon be over, as the expansion’s launch window has reportedly been leaked through a collaboration between Bandai Namco and gaming peripheral manufacturer Thrustmaster. The partnership between both companies will reportedly consist of several Elden Ring-themed controllers, with the first to be released early next year alongside the alleged release of the upcoming expansion.

Following the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree announcement in February 2023, information on the expansion remained scarce. As was often the case, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware remained tight-lipped regarding their plans for more content in The Lands Between. However, the new details that have come to light (as initially spotted by GamesRadar via ResetEra) – if they are to be believed – means The Tarnished’s story isn’t quite over, and there’s still plenty to look forward to in the near future.

Shadow of the Erdtree DLC launch reportedly slated for the new year

According to the leaked graphic provided via a ResetEra thread, the as-yet-unconfirmed partnership between Bandai Namco and Thrustmaster will reportedly release its first collaborative controller in February 2024 to “sync [it] with [the] new ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ expansion release.” Thrustmaster will then launch two more themed controllers the following year, which will be “synchronized with 2025 Elden Ring major keybeat or new game expansion.”

Unfortunately, specific release dates for these alleged future expansions weren’t provided. But keep in mind that since these details have yet to be confirmed by Bandai Namco or FromSoftware, you will need to take it with a heaping amount of salt for the time being until the developers release an official statement.
