Dredge The Pale Reach Frozen Hearts are awarded for using an Ice Axe to free each of the four crew members trapped in the ice shards at the various camps dotted around the ice fields. Apart from a short description, there’s not much to go on when it comes to figuring out how to use them.

We’ll explain what to do with the Frozen Hearts in Dredge The Pale Reach. We also have guides covering all the Dredge The Pale Reach Ice Axe locations if you haven’t found them yet, along with the Dredge The Pale Reach Iceshaper location. What to do with the Frozen Hearts in Dredge The Pale Reach

In keeping with the Dredge tradition of packaging most of the story into scribbled notes, cryptic NPC conversations, and cues in the environment, figuring out what to do with the Frozen Hearts isn’t all that obvious, especially if you’re relying solely on the Pursuit board in the cabin.

Per the Tattered Diary – 5th June, 1847 journal, there’s mention of a mysterious sound coming from the east. It’s not much to go on, but provides a major clue about where you need to take the Frozen Hearts.

Sail to the center of K-4, northeast of the Eastern Terminus, where you’ll find a blue block of ice that looks like a crystal built into the ice sheet on the edge of the water. It’s due east from the Central camp. Place the Dredge The Pale Reach Frozen Hearts into the rock slab.

In exchange for dropping them off, you’ll get the Radiant Trawl Net, which offers Ice, Coastal, Oceanic, and Shallow trawl net fishing with a yield of 18 fish per day, a 7×7 capacity, and +5% aberration bonus. This wraps up the Under The Ice pursuit.
