Dredge The Pale Reach Figure in White fish requests and where to find them

The Dredge The Pale Reach Figure in White needs your help finding three different fish per a set of scrolls with patches shaped like fish. Much like in the base game, it’s a timed pursuit, so fulfilling the requests quickly is key. Luckily, all the fish are confined to The Pale Reach so there’s no need to travel far and wide to find them, though they are all aberrated variants.

Dredge The Plae Reach Figure in White location

The Figure in White is located on the eastern edge of the Pale Reach in K-5, northeast of the Eastern Terminus. The figure is sitting at a small ruin covered in snow on the ice sheet where the Pale Reach meets the ocean.

✓ Tip

Use Ice Cubes to keep fish fresh for longer

We highly recommend finding the Ice Shaper before starting the Figure in White Pursuit. It allows you to buy ice cubes from the Travelling Merchant. These are then placed in your cargo and keep fish fresh for longer, extending the time it takes for them to spoil and rot. Given the size of The Pale Reach and the fact you’re fishing for aberrated variants, this comes in handy. Losing a rare aberrated fish to rot stings.

Dredge The Pale Reach Figure in White fish requests

All the fish are found in Ice-type fishing areas in and around the Pale Reach:

• Fractalline Icefish
• Fallen Stars
• Craterous Seer

Fractalline Icefish

Aberrated Icefish – you’ll find these by rod fishing Icefish or using the Radiant Trawl Net. Icefish are the most common fish in the area and there are spots near the Central Camp, the Eastern Terminus, the Bleak Pontoon, and in the various channels between them.

Fallen Stars 

Aberrated Sea Stars – to catch this one place down a crab pot in the Pale Reach area. We had the most luck placing them down in the channel between the ice fields near the Bleak Pontoon. It meant we could advance time by stopping by the Pontoon if needed to speed things up.

Craterous Seer

Aberrated Stargazer – you can find these by trawling in Ice areas in and around the Pale Reach. We had the best results boating around in the channels not far from the Figure in White and the Eastern Terminus.

You can either deliver each one at a time or all three at once. As a reward for delivering all three fish, you’ll get the Book of Astral Symbols, which after being read adds 4% to aberration catch chance. Not bad.
