Each weapon skill, core skill, and augment costs a certain amount of Discipline Points to unlock. These new skills can then be enhanced after you use them enough. Depending on your vocation’s rank, you will have access to more skills. The higher the rank, the more skills you will have available. This works the same for all vocations including sorcerer, fighter, warrior, mage, trickster, thief, archer, and magick archer.
How to earn Discipline Points in Dragon’s Dogma 2
There are a few ways that you can get Discipline Points in the game. These include the following activities:
- Defeating enemies
- Ranking up your vocation
- Complete tasks like side quests
As the Arisen, you will get Discipline Points from many tasks. For starters, defeating enemies will grant you points with each kill. Small enemies will grand a little while larger foes and boss monsters will grant modest experience awards. Each kill will add experience points toward your character’s level and your vocation.
Next, ranking up your vocation will unlock new skills and get you more points. Your rank growth is tied to the actions you perform. As your discipline level increases, you will need more experience to rank up. The maximum level for each vocation is nine. Finally, completing side quests can get you more DCP for your given vocation. This will also contribute to your character level growth.
Ring of Perseverance
You can use the Ring of Perseverance to increase the number of Discipline Points you get with each kill and task completed. This ring increases these gains by 1.5%.
