Wondering if and how to zoom out in Diablo 4? It’s fair to say that Diablo 4’s default camera can, at times, feel constrictive and a little too close to the hacking and slashing action than a lot of fans would like.

Naturally, many players immediately jump into the Diablo 4 settings menu to tinker their way to a new zoom-out option for some more screen space, but figuring out if an alternative solution even exists and, if it does, how it works can be tricky. While you’re in there you might want to dial in the best Diablo 4 graphics settings and brush up on all the early game Diablo 4 Fractured Peaks Waypoint locations. Can you zoom out in Diablo 4?

Unfortunately, the default zoom setting in Diablo 4 is as far back from the action as you can get and there’s no option in the game’s gameplay settings to zoom out any further. You can, however, zoom in closer by rolling your mouse wheel forward, then roll it back to return to the default zoom setting. But, that’s as far as zoom level customisation goes in Diablo 4.

We could conceivably see mods surface which offer alternative zoom settings to make playing Diablo 4 a bit easier on the old eyes. But these will take some time for modders to develop, so for the time being, players are stuck with the built-in limit in Diablo 4’s UI.

Though disappointing for those hoping for a broader view when playing Diablo 4, that covers how to zoom out (or not as is the case here) in Diablo 4. Not ideal, but players will surely make do.
