Blizzard is bringing back Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing less than a month after ending the event back in February. As players look to finish up Season 7 before the release of the much harder Season 8, the new event will give players a chance to rapidly increase their progression one last time this season.
However, players who have already wrapped up their Season 7 run may be upset at the return of the event. With the event only ending on February 25th, it’s been less than a month before the event’s return.
Diablo 4 brings back Mother’s Blessing already
Announced in a recent Twitter post, Blizzard confirmed that the Mother’s Blessing event is coming back already with the caption: “Lilith doth not often bless. But oh, when she does…” Are you sure about that?
Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing returns on March 18th and will run until March 25th. The event will give players a 35% bonus for XP and a 50% bonus on Gold. Additionally, the returning event will give players a Gift of the Tree cache for turning in Grim Favours during the week-long period.
With Mother’s Blessing releasing coming back to the latest Diablo game almost every month, it’s become almost clockwork. As it turns out, Lilith blesses often, and it’s becoming very repetitive for hardcore players of the ARPG.
While Blizzard works on a revamped battle pass system to replace the current “antiquated system”, there are already talks of a Diablo 5. With a new expansion in the works for D4, the lack of genuine new events has players wondering just how much new content will come to the live-service ARPG.
“You EVER gonna bring something new and make me come back from POE 2?” one fan commented. “It’s just rehash after rehash, vampire powers, witch powers etc.”
To its credit, Blizzard is working on new content with a brand-new Belial boss fight and the ability to steal boss powers in Season 8. However, there is a huge problem with recycled content in Diablo 4, and the constant return of Mother’s Blessing every month is just one of them.
