Call of Duty games always feature a wide cast of characters, including the Operators that players can pick up and play. It’s not uncommon for them to reappear from previous games and their campaigns, which of course includes their relevant Factions too. So what can the fans expect from Black Ops 6? We’re here to find out and list all of the Operators and Factions in the game.

Factions in CoD Black Ops 6

The Operators in BO6 come from two main factions, with some of them sharing affiliations with other groups in the in-game universe. Some of them had their storylines and affiliations changed between games, for example. The two main factions in Black Ops 6 are:

  • Rogue Black Ops
  • Crimson One

Rogue Black Ops, as their name implies are an outlawed group being hunted by their former employers. They seek to discover the truth about CIA infiltration and bring the conspiracy to light to clear their names. Their distinct trait is that their equipment is all over the place – improvised, supplied from different sides, found on the black market, etc. They are in direct opposition to Crimson One, the faction that’s hunting them.

Crimson One is a group directly tasked with hunting down and eliminating Rogue Black Ops. Working under the CIA, they have access to all the intel and tools they might need to bring the outlaws down.
