Fallout London features seven voiced companions you can enlist to help you make it through post-apocalyptic London, each with unique likes, dislikes, and perks. You’ll bump into many of them as part of the main story and side quests scattered around the capital. Here’s a closer look at all the companions in Fallout London and where to find them.
Where to find Fallout London’s companions
Here are all the companion locations we are aware of so far:
Companion | Location |
---|---|
Archie | Obtained during the main story |
Arthur Mountbatten | North of the River |
Churchill | Obtained after the tutorial |
John Smith | Fifth Column faction |
Kiera | Bank of England main story quest |
Mad Jack | North of the River |
Pendragon | Camelot faction |
How to get Archie as a companion
Archie is the young boy connected to the early part of the main storyline. Players need to progress the story with Archie and the Ferryman to unlock him as a companion. Archie’s notable strength is that he is an absolute pack mule. However, he’s pretty terrible at combat. He also dislikes anything remotely evil.
How to get Arthur Mountbatten as a companion
To find Arthur Mountbatten, travel to the northeast of the map to the large gate that takes you towards Hackney. Travel directly north from the Tower of London end of Tower Bridge and make your way to the large concrete wall block at the very top of the map. You’ll find Arthur hanging upside down and he asks for your help. If you hire him, you’ll get a character with a slick 45. Revolver.
How to get Churchill as a companion
You’ll find Churchill at the Prilladog factory between the Train Crash site and Thameshaven. You’ll naturally stumble on this location walking to the main story quest area that the Vagabonds tell you to go to. When you reach the Prilladog Food Factory, you’ll get a quest pop-up, telling you to fight mutant dogs attacking the British Bulldog. Defend the dog, then speak to the Tommies guard above to get Churchill as a companion. Churchill is a decent companion, largely because of his stun attack. He hangs onto an enemy’s arm, which makes them easy to hit with a gun or melee weapon.
How to get Kiera as a companion
You can get Kiera as a companion as part of the Bank of England main story quest. Press on through the bank until you reach the Vault then talk to Kiera there, share your life story, and then enlist her as a companion. If you don’t let her join as a companion at this time, you can find her again in Camden Market. She’s a bit more chaotic than other companions. She tends to like hacking, thieving, and even a bit of cannibalism if you go down that route.
How to get Mad Jack as a companion
If you’re travelling towards northwest London, you’ll find Mad Jack lingering around the basement of the Pilgrim pub. From Trafalgar Square, head northwest towards the bend which faces Reagent’s park. Along one of the side streets about two roads away from the map boundary, you will find a pub called the Pilgrim. Head inside and go through the door at the back of the pub’s lounge area. This takes you to an underground Fight Club. Speak to the fight manager and get Mad Jack’s attention by surviving a fight against him for over a minute.
When you get into the ring with Mad Jack, don’t anything until the promoter makes the announcement. Jack should then turn temporarily hostile. Survive in the ring with him for a minute to unlock Jack as a companion. Mad Jack is a strength-based companion that has tonnes of health and damage, making him a very strong companion. He’s perfect for tanking and getting the attention of enemies. Be advised he can’t use ranged weapon, only melee.
How to get Pendragon or John Smith as a companion
There’s two companions that are exclusive to specific factions and which one you can enlist depends on a choice you make in the main story: choosing to side with the Fifth Column or the Camelot factions. To get Pendragon, join Camelot. If you want John Smith, side with the Fifth Column.
