The Fallout London total conversion mod is bringing a whole new cast of characters, a fresh map, and a fleshed out story set before Fallout 3. Among these are Factions that make up the post-apocalyptic capital. There won’t be any returning factions from previous Fallout games set in the US. Here’s a closer look at the factions in Fallout London and who you can expect to encounter.
Fallout London Factions overview
With the setting based on the World War era of London, players will find a mixture of themes underpinning the Factions. There’s the standard aristocratic World War 2 factions with the Gentry and the Tommies. You then get a look at the mean streets of London with the underground organised crime rings with the likes of the Isle of Dogs and Vagabonds. Hiding deeper underground are the hidden forces of Camelot, a republican movement with a focus on true democracy. Then lastly there are the Angels, a secret organisation not even the developers are being too specific about. You can get a better idea of the factions below.:
Faction | Details |
---|---|
Gentry | Aristocratic upper-class Britons looking to rebuild the United Kingdom. They rule out of Westminster. |
Tommies | The armed defenders of London and Westminster. Currently aligned with the Gentry, they are the soldier class from the Great War period |
Fifth Column | Militant populist faction wanting to take on the Gentry and rule with Eve as their leader. |
Camelot | Underground faction that went into hiding. Looking to form a republic and replace Westminster with the Round Table, where citizens all get a seat in the new republic. Ideally want peaceful reforms but becoming more militant. |
Isle of Dogs | The strong working-class geezers of London’s Isle of Dogs region who enjoy a good bit of footie and hooliganism. They work together to run an underground criminal network. They are currently affiliated with the Gentry due to taxation allowing their operations to exist. But, they wouldn’t mind a change of scenery. |
Vagabonds | This is a gang in conflict with the Isle of Dogs. Their aesthetic is based on the Birmingham gang, the Peaky Blinders, and they boast a more sophisticated organised crime network. |
Angels | An elusive gang run by Mr. Smythe. They are connected with the old establishment’s secret science and military projects and have a network of secret spies. Not much else is known about where or how they operate other than their clandestine ways. |
