There are many companions in Fallout London that players can find on their travels. One of those is Mountbatten during the main story but also as you’re out exploring. No matter how you choose to find him, you will find a complex character with a great backstory, alongside an OP revolver for ranged combat support that’s worth grabbing. Here’s everything you need to know about Mountbatten in Fallout London.
Where to find Mountbatten
You’ll find Mountbatten located in the very northeast corner of the London map, beside the gate that leads to Hackney. You’ll naturally reach this location as part of the main story after completing the Bank of England quest and taking on the Heavenslayer quest.
Look for the sectioned-off blast wall to the northeast, and you’ll find the route to Hackney. When you get right up against the blast wall, Mountbatten is hanging right up against the gate. You’ll hear him calling your name and you can choose to set him free. Once he is free, he will ask you if he can be your companion. You can opt to tell him to go to your settlement or join you there and then.
If you do opt to take on Mountbatten as a companion, he is a very strong ally. He walks around with a Revolver that dishes out significant damage. He is perhaps one of the stronger companions in terms of infinite ammo weapons. If you need some punch dealing with the difficulty of Fallout London, Mountbatten is a great companion to get early on.
Mountbatten’s Form ID Code
If you ever swap Mounbatten out, he will go to the settlement you instructed him to. If can’t find him, then use the Form ID code below. If you need to summon Mountbatten, then you need to input the following console command:
- Player.placeatme 072C005F
To access console commands, press either the tilde key “~” or ‘, depending on your keyboard layout. You can then copy and paste the code above to spawn Mountbatten. Note that he needs to be alive and rescued for this method to work.
Mountbatten’s affinity and likes
Mountbatten’s affinity contains quite a strange mixture of likes and dislikes, which you can find below:
Likes | Dislikes |
---|---|
Steal things | Using chems |
Be nice in quest dialogue | Chem addiction |
Ask him about his life and history | Walking around naked |
Drink booze and party with him | Urinate in the bottle for a certain end-game quest |
Mountbatten is a gentry character. He’s fine if you use legal narcotics, and dislikes outlawed performance-enhancing items. He’s also a gentleman, meaning he likes when you’re compassionate, kind, and thoughtful, and dislikes unpleasantness and barbarism, hence his dislike of chems, addiction, nakedness, and urination. They are rather ungentlemanly after all. Stealing things is acceptable however, because of his background as a pseudo thief as a tax collector.
Keep these in mind for his affinity quest, which will make you collect items as part of his family’s back story. You get a taste of this as your affinity with him improves over time and you ask him questions to get to know him.
