Feathers are one of the collectibles scattered throughout the A Plague Tale: Requiem’s 17 chapters. There are total of 7 feathers to find and collecting them all unlocks the Ornithologist achievement and contributes towards completing Hugo’s Collection.
As with most collectible in the game, the feathers require some exploration and the occasional spot of puzzle solving to find. If you’re having a tough time tracking them all down, you’ll find a guide to all feather locations in below.

A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Jay Feather 1/7
This one is unmissable and serves as an introduction to collecting feathers throughout A Plague Tale: Requiem. Race Hugo to the tree at the start of Chapter 6 – Leaving all Behind, then interact when prompted to pick up the Jay feather.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Black Headed Gull Feather 2/7
Progress through the start of Chapter 7 – Felons, until you reach the beach. Continue forward until you see an elevated wooden shack on your left. Enter and jump through the window at the back, then follow the path. Near the cliff you’ll find the Black Headed Gull feather.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Black Kite Feather 3/7
Found at the market during during the Celebration of the Brighter Days portion of Chapter 8 – Sea of Promises. From the central market place on the island, head left towards the grassy opening. You’ll see a group of people sitting listening to a woman. Head to the end of the stone wall, then up and around to the tree. You’ll find the Black Kite feather at the foot of the tree.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Barn Owl Feather 4/7
Found on the way to the sanctuary during the Entering the Sanctuary portion of Chapter 10 – Tales and Revelations. It’s near the end of the chapter. Reach the tower after passing through the heavily guarded area at the foot of the sanctuary. Climb all the way to the top and hop up the ledge. Continue forward a little ways and you’ll find the Barn Owl feather lying on the floor on your left.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Raven Feather 5/7
Found during The Old Temple portion of Chapter 10 – Bloodline, right after using the chandelier to break out of the temple. Head forward and take the left-hand path that leads to a cliff edge overlooking the sea (heading right takes you to a workbench and on the mission path). Continue to the end of the cliff to find the Raven feather.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – European Goldfinch Feather 6/7
Found during the Byzantine Technology portion of Chapter 11 – The Cradle of Centuries. Progress forward until Sophia moves a tank of Greek fire for you to blow up. Enter the next room. In the top right corner, there’s a tank hidden behind planks of wood. Use Ignifer to blow it up, then crawl through into the room beyond. Inside you’ll find the European Goldfinch feather.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Hugo’s Collection – Greylag Goose Feather 7/7
Found during the Ruined Village section of Chapter 13 – Nothing Left. Just before reaching Arnaud, you’ll pass under a flower garland that’s on fire. Pass underneath then take a left to find a cart. Push it to the ledge (careful here as one ledge continues down the mission path) – the one on the left, closest to the garland. Climb up and find the Greylag Goose feather just ahead on the floor.
